Your new role
As a Structural/Civil Engineer, you will be involved in the design, analysis, and delivery of a range of structural projects from concept through to completion. You will work closely with senior engineers, architects, and clients, contributing to innovative and practical design solutions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing structural calculations, designs, and drawings for a variety of projects
- Working with materials such as steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
- Supporting project delivery from feasibility through to construction stage
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensuring designs meet current industry standards and regulations
- Assisting with site inspections and technical reporting
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role within a UK/Irish consultancy environment
- Experience with structural design software (e.g. Tekla, Tedds, Robot, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of UK/Irish building regulations and design codes
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Progress towards Chartership (ICE or IStructE) would be advantageous.
