A leading Tier 1 Bank is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a MiFID II remediation project. This is a high-visibility role within the Markets Transformation function, responsible for delivering procedural, system, control, and governance enhancements to ensure full compliance with MiFID II regulation.
Job Details:
- Start date: ASAP
- Duration: Initial 6 months
- Rate: £580pd Inside IR35 via Umbrella
- Location: London
- Hybrid: 3 days in the office
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years' experience delivering large-scale regulatory programmes in Investment Banking / Markets, with proven end-to-end project delivery expertise.
- Strong MiFID II experience gained within Tier 1 banks, including order record keeping, regulatory interpretation, impact assessment, and BAU transition.
- Demonstrated experience managing senior stakeholders across the Front Office, Business Management, Legal, Compliance, Market & Credit Risk, and Technology.
- Skilled in developing and maintaining project plans, RAID logs, governance artefacts, charters, RACI models, and implementation plans.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to chair project working groups and present clearly at senior levels.
