Your new company This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys both the technical aspects of accounting and the opportunity to influence process improvement, reporting development and business closely with senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in ensuring robust financial control while supporting the ongoing evolution of the finance function across a growing group of businesses. Your new role Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting financial reporting packs. Post and review journals, balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns. Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities. Reconcile intercompany balances and support multi-entity accounting requirements. Review suspense accounts and maintain a clear and accurate audit trail. Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, improve efficiencies and support automation initiatives. Work collaboratively with operational teams to develop a strong understanding of business performance drivers. Produce meaningful financial information and insights to support management decision-making. Support ongoing finance transformation and business integration projects. Partner with senior stakeholders across the wider organisation. What you'll need to succeed ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or part-qualified with relevant industry experience. 2-5 years' experience within an accounting or finance environment. Experience preparing management accounts and financial reconciliations. Strong systems skills with experience using ERP systems. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
