Your new company is a global pharmaceutical and biotech company focused on healthcare innovation and environmental sustainability. They aim to improve people's quality of life by preventing, alleviating, and curing diseases, with a wide pharmaceutical portfolio specialised in areas such as Oncology, neurology, and rare diseases.

There is an opportunity for a Medical Advisor (Disease Area Specialist (DAS)), Innovative Medicines, to join their Medical Affairs global team on an initial 6-month rolling contract. This role is hybrid, requiring onsite presence 2/3 days per week in Uxbridge.

Your new role involves joining the Medical Affairs team as a Medical Advisor (DAS), focusing on delivering medical expertise across the innovative Medicines portfolio. You will act as a trusted partner to both internal and external stakeholders, playing a strategic role in therapy areas, anticipating future business needs, and driving innovative solutions. Responsibilities include maintaining deep scientific knowledge of products and therapy areas, New Products Planning, and providing medical assessments for early-stage assets and late-stage portfolios.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • An Advanced scientific or clinical degree, ideally as a UK registered pharmacist.
  • Expert experience in Medical Affairs across early, mid, and late-stage product lifecycle management.
  • Experience in product strategy development, product launch, and managing vendors in Medical Information.
  • Training in the UK Code of Practice with practical insight into UK compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage teams across multiple cultures.
  • Comfort in dealing with challenges from different countries and a drive for solution-finding.
