Logistics Co-Ordinator

Your new company Hays are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing organisation within the FMCG sector to recruit a Logistics Co-ordinator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced supply chain team and play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods across the UK and international markets. Your new role As Logistics Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for: Planning and coordinating third-party transport requirements Ensuring the timely and cost-effective movement of products Manage relationships with haulage providers Monitor transport performance Coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any logistics issues that arise You will also play an important role in: Customs compliance Managing TSS requirements Bonded movements HMRC customs processes What you'll need to succeed Recent experience within a logistics, transport planning or supply chain environment Experience coordinating third-party haulage and transport providers Knowledge of customs procedures, TSS requirements and customs compliance Experience managing bonded goods movements and HMRC processes Understanding of import and export operations Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple deadlines Strong communication and relationship-building skills Competent user of Microsoft Excel and logistics or transport management systems Experience within FMCG, wholesale, distribution or a similar fast-paced environment would be advantageous Familiarity with customs software or HMRC online systems would be beneficial What you'll get in return Competitive salary Company pension scheme Private healthcare Employee Assistance Programme Ongoing training and development opportunities Support for further learning and professional development Enhanced family-friendly benefits Free on-site parking Opportunity to join a collaborative and growing business with genuine career progression prospects What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
