Your new role involves joining the consultancy's experienced team in Lisburn as a Senior Civil Engineer. This is a permanent position offering the chance to work on a variety of infrastructure projects and contribute to the full project lifecycle. Responsibilities include:
- Producing civil engineering designs from concept through to detailed design.
- Preparing technical specifications and contract documentation.
- Conducting site inspections and surveys.
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff.
- Managing project components and liaising with clients and stakeholders.
- Attending project and design meetings.
- Developing masterplan and infrastructure layout drawings.
- Driving technical development and innovation within the team.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in infrastructure design (e.g., roads, drainage, utilities).
- Familiarity with NI Water and DFI Roads standards.
- Strong understanding of drainage design and SuDS.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and MicroDrainage.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
