We're working with a growing, multi-disciplinary building services consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineering solutions across the UK & Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Associate / Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Belfast team. You'll play a key role in delivering large-scale residential, mixed-use, and industrial projects across the UK and Europe.
Your new role
- This is a senior, client-facing position offering the opportunity to lead projects, manage a small team, and contribute to business growth.
- Lead the electrical discipline on projects or act as project lead.
- Manage and mentor engineers and technicians.
- Deliver projects across all stages, from design through to completion.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and project teams.
- Prepare technical designs, calculations, specifications, and reports.
- Support bid submissions and contribute to business development.
- Monitor project performance, including programme, resource, and financials.
- Carry out design reviews and ensure quality standards are met.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
- 5+ years' experience in electrical design within building services.
- Experience leading projects and managing teams.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills.
- Experience delivering projects from concept through to completion.
- Proficient in relevant software (e.g. CAD, Revit, Amtech) and BIM environments.
- Chartered or working towards (desirable).
