Your new company is a well-known food group in Ireland with an excellent reputation for processes, training, and career development. They are a high-volume producer within FMCG and have steadily invested in upgrading the site, equipment, and processes over the years. Due to a focus on a more planned maintenance program, they wish to appoint 2 new engineers into a day-based maintenance engineer role to be hands-on but focus on root cause analysis and proper long-term fixes to improve OEE.
Your new role involves working in a large maintenance team, Monday to Friday, supporting the team while also focusing on the analysis of breakdowns and issues. You will examine how future work can provide a longer-term fix, thus reducing instances of breakdown and allowing the team to concentrate on more preventative-based work.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Time served in engineering
- Multi-skilled ability
- Production related or transferable experience
What you'll get in return:
Salary is circa £50,000 before overtime for a Monday to Friday role, 33 days annual leave, a very strong pension, and a host of additional benefits that can be explained in discussion. The salary is high for a days-based role because if the continental days team needs support, you can be expected to cover on occasion, and pay for this is standard.
