Your new company Hays Accountancy and Finance are working with our client, a well-established, mission-driven organisation with a global presence, who are seeking a talented finance professional to join their team. You'll work closely with senior finance stakeholders, contributing to financial reporting, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your new role:

  • Support the Finance Manager in delivering monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across multiple cost centres
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and reconciliations
  • Provide support during internal and external audit processes
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of financial controls and procedures
  • Assist in driving improvements within finance systems, including implementation projects
  • Deliver financial training and guidance to internal stakeholders where required
  • Support statutory reporting and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate across the wider operational teams to support organisational objectives

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Proven experience producing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Strong experience working with multi-cost centre accounting systems
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and present data effectively
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage a varied workload independently
