Due to increased activity within the fundraising team, an opportunity has arisen for a Fundraising Assistant to join the organisation on a temporary basis.

Your new role As Fundraising Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting fundraising activities and maintaining positive relationships with supporters, community groups and corporate partners.

This is a varied position offering a mix of administration, stakeholder engagement and field-based support.

Key responsibilities will include: Assisting with the coordination of fundraising campaigns and events.

Acting as a positive ambassador when engaging with members of the public, community groups and partner organisations.

Delivering fundraising materials, merchandise and stock to various locations across Northern Ireland.

Attending cheque presentations, community events and fundraising activities on behalf of the organisation.

Collecting and transporting stock between offices, storage facilities and event locations as required.

Providing administrative support to the fundraising team, including maintaining records and updating databases.

Building and maintaining positive relationships with supporters and external stakeholders.

Supporting the promotion of fundraising initiatives and campaigns.

Ensuring stock levels are monitored and distributed efficiently.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will be a confident and personable individual who enjoys engaging with people from a wide range of will ideally have: Previous experience in an administration, fundraising, customer service or public-facing role.

A full, valid driving licence and access to transport for business travel.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A friendly, professional and approachable manner.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A reliable, dependable and flexible approach to work.
