Your new role
As an Executive Assistant (Maternity Cover), you will provide dedicated, high-level support to a senior executive, ensuring they are fully prepared for all meetings, events, and strategic priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing complex calendars, meetings, and competing priorities
- Preparing high-quality PowerPoint presentations, including pulling together content from reports and multiple data sources
- Ensuring the executive is fully briefed and prepared for meetings and engagements
- Taking accurate minutes at meetings, ensuring they are documented, reviewed, and signed off
- Coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements
- Supporting the planning and delivery of events
- Acting as a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders
- Proactively identifying potential issues and resolving them before escalation
- Supporting governance processes and maintaining strict confidentiality at all times
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in executive support, administration or office management
- Experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges proactively
- The ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Experience in minute-taking and report writing
- Experience coordinating travel, events, and executive-level schedules
- A good understanding of business operations and corporate governance
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Canva)
- Comfortable using collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- A professional, adaptable approach to working styles and senior stakeholders
