Your new role As Demo Stock Controller, you will play a key role in the management and control of high-value demonstration equipment used by global sales teams. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating equipment movements, and ensuring stock is available, tracked and maintained to the highest standards.
Your duties will include:
- Managing and maintaining accurate inventory records for demonstration equipment.
- Conducting regular stock audits and cycle counts.
- Coordinating equipment allocation, transfers, returns and shipments.
- Packing and dispatching demonstration equipment as required.
- Monitoring stock availability, location and condition.
- Maintaining an organised and efficient stockroom environment.
- Liaising with sales, operations, logistics, finance and technical teams to ensure smooth processes.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of inventory and stock control procedures.
- Ensuring demonstration equipment is available to support customer demonstrations and sales activities globally.
This role includes a level of manual handling and would suit someone who enjoys a combination of hands-on stock control responsibilities and administrative duties.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a stock control, inventory management or warehouse administration position.
- Experience working with high-value stock or equipment.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using business systems and following inventory management processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage changing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
What you'll get in return £13.45 per hour Temp ongoing Flexible start and finish times. Core hours between 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.30am to 1pm Friday. Early finish every Friday.
