We are working with a global financial organisation to recruit multiple Compliance Surveillance Analysts to join the surveillance team responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of a suite of surveillance activities designed to detect behaviours that may violate regulatory rules or internal policies and procedures. These roles are initially for 12 months, with the possibility of extension or permanent opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing and investigating trading alerts for the firm, employees, and clients.
- Documenting findings clearly and escalating issues when required.
- Analysing trade data and supporting responses to regulators.
- Communicating results to management and working with compliance, legal, and audit teams.
- Handling general tasks such as inquiries, hotlines, data entry, and ensuring compliance with internal rules and procedures.
Skills and Experience
- Previous relevant experience preferred.
- Some knowledge of compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, and typologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with a flexible, innovative, and adaptable approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Location
This role requires attendance in the Belfast office three days per week. Only candidates who can meet this requirement will be considered.
