Your new role involves:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and ROI subsidiary reporting.
- Year-end audit preparation and statutory accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with all financial reporting.
- Supervising the Accounts Administrator.
- Maintaining sales, purchase, and nominal ledgers.
- Overseeing reconciliations and month-end processes.
- Managing payroll on a weekly and monthly basis, including pensions.
- Setting up BACS/FPS payments.
- Overseeing VAT and statutory returns across NI and ROI.
- Managing credit control and internal systems.
- Maintaining supplier and KPI reporting.
- Contributing to ongoing business improvements.
- Supporting operational processes including stock control, contracts, and internal job tracking.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Experienced finance professional, ideally fully qualified or QBE.
- Strong knowledge of management accounts and statutory reporting.
- Experience working across NI and ROI jurisdictions, including VAT and payroll legislation.
- Hands-on experience with accounting systems and strong Excel skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience supervising staff and overseeing broader business operations or systems.
- Organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
