Your new role involves overseeing day-to-day assembly operations, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead a team of operatives while driving performance and maintaining strong operational responsibilities:

  • Supervising daily assembly operations to meet production schedules
  • Leading, motivating and supporting assembly teams
  • Ensuring products are assembled in line with specifications and quality standards
  • Monitoring workflow, productivity and labour utilisation
  • Conducting quality checks and maintaining assembly standards
  • Promoting and enforcing health & safety across the department
  • Delivering toolbox talks and supporting training initiatives
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities
  • Maintaining accurate production reporting and documentation

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Previous supervisory experience within manufacturing or assembly
  • Strong understanding of production processes and workflow management
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
