Your new role As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a large-scale fit-out project from pre-construction through to closely with the Project Director, you will lead multidisciplinary teams across design, engineering, commercial and construction functions, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality responsibilities will include managing project schedules, coordinating subcontractors, monitoring progress, controlling costs, mitigating risks, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners. You will also oversee health and safety compliance, quality assurance processes, procurement activities, contract administration and project role would suit an experienced construction professional who enjoys leading teams, driving performance, and delivering exceptional project outcomes. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you should possess: Proven experience delivering large-scale fit-out construction projects from inception through to completion. Previous experience working within a Tier 1 contractor or major construction environment. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage site teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders. Excellent knowledge of project planning, programme management, cost control, risk management and quality assurance. Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation and best practice. Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Relevant health and safety certification such as SMSTS, CSCS, Safe Pass or equivalent. Desirable experience includes: Data centre, life sciences, commercial or infrastructure project delivery. BIM and digital construction technologies. Professional membership with CIOB, RICS, ICE or a similar body. Experience of lean construction and continuous improvement methodologies.
