An established housing provider in the Leeds area is seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Electrician to join their Property Services team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical repairs and maintenance across a portfolio of domestic properties.

The Role

  • Carry out a variety of electrical maintenance tasks, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to professional standards.
  • Work in occupied and void properties, providing excellent service to tenants and residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete day-to-day electrical repairs and maintenance.
  • Conduct fault-finding, diagnostics, and rectification.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
  • Install, replace, or repair electrical fixtures, fittings, and appliances.
  • Undertake EICRs and produce accurate certification.
  • Ensure compliance with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Participate in an on-call rota for emergency repairs.
  • Maintain van stock and update job details via digital systems.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Work independently while representing the organisation professionally.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing (or 2394/2395 equivalent).

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience in domestic or social housing maintenance.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
