We're partnering with a specialist building services consultancy known for delivering high-quality M&E designs across luxury hotels, bars, restaurants, and premium commercial developments, alongside a range of industrial projects. They're now looking for a Graduate or Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team, offering the chance to develop your career on prestigious projects while benefiting from a flexible, supportive environment.

Your new role

  • You'll support the delivery of mechanical building services design across a diverse project portfolio, gaining hands-on experience and exposure across all stages of design.
  • Assist in the design of mechanical building services systems (HVAC, ventilation, etc.)
  • Produce drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD (Revit exposure beneficial)
  • Support calculations including load assessments and system sizing
  • Work alongside senior engineers to develop practical, high-quality design solutions
  • Contribute to coordinated designs within a multidisciplinary team

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services related discipline
  • Basic understanding of building services design principles
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD (Revit advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Good organisation and ability to meet deadlines

  • Placement or internship experience within building services
  • Awareness of CIBSE guidelines / UK Building Regulations
