Your new company is a top 20, private equity backed Accountancy Practice, rapidly expanding and seeking new talent for their Business Support team. Your new role as an Administrator within the Lancaster office will play a key role in supporting Partners, Managers and multi-disciplinary teams. You will contribute to the smooth running of the office by delivering efficient, confidential and high-quality administrative support. Your varied daily responsibilities will include:
- Producing letters, reports, memos, presentations and file notes using Microsoft Office
- Providing reception cover and acting as a professional first point of contact
- Preparing finalised accounts for clients
- Scanning and handling incoming mail, maintaining accurate documentation
- Working with the Office Manager to reduce non‑chargeable time
- Carrying out additional administrative duties that support the day‑to‑day running of the office
No two days are the same. This role is ideal for someone proactive, organised and confident managing multiple priorities.
What you will need to succeed:
- Previous administration experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and overall solid IT capability
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to juggle several tasks and respond to the unexpected
- Clear, confident communication skills
- A flexible, self‑motivated mindset and the initiative to support colleagues at all levels
