Junior HR Officer (12-month contract) - Magherafelt

What a fantastic opportunity this is to work for a very innovative manufacturing company based in Magherafelt. There is a huge success story behind this company. They have been expanding over the last decade by diversifying into different markets and different products and accessories. They have very exciting future plans and it is a great time to be joining this company. They are recruiting for a junior HR Officer. This is a 12-month contract role initially. Hours of work is Monday - Friday 9-5, 37.5 hours a week and can potentially offer hybrid working after training. Salary for this role is circa £32k.

The Role

  • Act as first point of contact for employee and manager HR queries
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation
  • Support employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Manage absence, probation and performance review processes
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and contract preparation
  • Maintain HR systems, personnel files and data integrity
  • Compile HR reports and key metrics for management
  • Coordinate training and development activities and support wider HR projects
  • Promote employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyse trends
