Your new company is a leading provider within their industry, committed to innovation, excellence, and the development of their people. They have appointed Hays to recruit a HR & Talent graduate to join their team. The position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional HR environment while supporting various aspects of human resources, including administration, training and development, and project work.

Your new role involves being responsible for all HR Administration duties, including managing and maintaining employee records, preparing contracts, assisting with recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will support the coordination and delivery of training programmes and development initiatives for employees, manage the administration relating to the employee review process, and contribute to HR-related projects aimed at developing existing procedures and enhancing employee engagement. Additionally, you will prepare and maintain HR reports, ensuring data is accurate and compliant, assist with the management and development of current HR-related business systems, and act as a point of contact for employees, providing assistance with HR-related queries and ensuring a professional and responsive service.

To succeed in this role, you will need a positive attitude and self-starting ability with the aptitude to take ownership of projects as required and see them through to completion. A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (a CIPD qualification or progress toward one is desirable) is essential. Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and a proactive and professional attitude are also required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with HR systems or databases is desirable but not essential. A full driving licence and willingness to travel to other locations as required are also necessary.
