Your new company is a leading manufacturer of construction machinery, well-established and successful for over 50 years, now a global leader. They are recruiting for a HR Officer in a full-time permanent role with flexible hours between 7.30 and 6. Salary is up to £45k, with potential for more for the right candidate and the possibility of hybrid working after training.
Your new role is a stand-alone position providing HR services for 80 staff. Duties include:
- Policies, Handbook & Employee Contracts: Develop, review, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practices.
- Recruitment: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, manage advertising, agency relationships, shortlisting, interviewing, and offers.
- Performance Management, Appraisal, Review & KPI: Design and implement performance management frameworks and support development of KPI processes.
- Disciplinary & Employee Relations: Manage employee relations activities including disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations.
- Training & Development & Workplace Culture: Identify training needs, coordinate induction and development activities, and support employee engagement initiatives.
- Payroll: Act as the HR interface with payroll, ensuring accurate submission of data and compliance with statutory obligations.
- Benefits: Administer employee benefits and act as a point of contact for queries related to benefits and entitlements.
