Your new company Hays are working with a leader in the construction industry to recruit an HR Generalist to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
- As an HR Generalist, you will be an integral part of the HR team and be responsible for providing professional HR guidance and support to managers and employees across the organisation.
- Support with hiring activities including onboarding and off-boarding.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries and provide advice on policy, procedures and best practice.
- Support line managers with employee relations matters.
- Support and guide managers through the performance review processes.
- Participate in a range of HR projects to enhance employee experience and engagement.
- Work with a continuous improvement mindset and make recommendations to improve procedures and workflows where appropriate.
- Keep HR records accurate and up to date.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience: 3-5 years' experience in an HR Generalist role.
- Proven experience in supporting HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR practices and employment regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Desirable Criteria:
- CIPD Part or Fully Qualified.
- 3rd level qualification in an HR or Business-related discipline.
