Your new company Hays are pleased to be working with a public sector organisation to appoint an HR Business Partner to join their team on a temporary basis.
Your new role As an HR Business Partner, you'll play a key role in delivering expert HR advice, managing employee relations cases, and driving attendance and well-being initiatives.
- Provide professional HR support on grievance, disciplinary, and attendance matters
- Advise managers on HR policies, employment law, and best practices
- Lead on employee relations and well-being strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders and trade unions
- Support HR projects, policy development, and learning initiatives
What you'll need to succeed:
- Post Graduate Diploma in HR Management or equivalent Level 7 qualification
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a Human Resources function providing professional advice and guidance to senior management on complex employee relations matters
- Significant relevant HR experience in at least 4 of the following 5 areas:
- Managing Attendance
- Managing Grievance and/or Dignity at work cases
- Managing Disciplinary cases
- Developing HR Policy & Procedures
- Delivering HR projects in support of business objectives
What you'll get in return:
- Minimum 3-month contract with possibility of extension
- £21.98/hour, equivalent to £42,289 per annum
- Hybrid and flexible working
- City centre location
