Your new role involves playing a vital role in shaping the company strategy, elevating HSE practices to new heights, and reinforcing the legacy as a leader in HSE within the GSE industry. - Lead and inspire a global HSE strategy, ensuring compliance across all areas while fostering a positive safety culture.
- Engage with directors, managers, and frontline supervisors to create and uphold a vibrant HSE culture.
- Spearhead continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental standards, supporting new initiatives and programs.
- Establish and measure KPIs to monitor HSE progress, driving accountability and results.
- Ensure compliance with ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards, leading all surveillance and certification audits.
- Lead incident investigations, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Oversee inspections, audits, and site reviews, analyzing trends and ensuring adherence to HSE management systems.
- Develop and implement training programs to keep employees informed and compliant with safety regulations and best practices.
Working hours are Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times.
What you will need to succeed:
- NEBOSH Level 6 in Occupational Safety and Health (or equivalent).
- A minimum of 10 years in an operational HSE role, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position within a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO standards, OSHA guidelines, and legal HSE policies.
- Proven ability to foster a positive HSE culture and drive continuous improvement across a team.
- A willingness to travel internationally as required.
