Your new role:
- Operate and maintain grounds maintenance machinery (mowers, strimmers, chainsaws, etc.)
- Carry out landscaping tasks (planting, pruning, reseeding, hedge cutting, etc.)
- Litter removal and site clean-up (including fly-tipping debris)
- Apply pesticides and weed control chemicals
- Perform minor equipment maintenance
- Load/unload tools, materials, and waste
- Report hazards and support public safety
- Follow H&S procedures, risk assessments, and COSHH guidance
- Use and maintain PPE and equipment properly
- Record work accurately (paper/digital) and meet deadlines
- Report incidents, hazards, and near misses
- Mainly outdoor/site-based work
- Depot access (canteen, toilets)
- Minimum 20-minute flexible break
- PPE and tools provided
What you'll need to succeed:
- 1-5 years' experience
- Basic IT skills
- Access NI (Basic) required
- Desirable: B1E licence, spraying certificate
