The Role

As a Graduate Engineer, you will work closely with experienced engineers and production teams, gaining exposure across manufacturing, design support, quality and continuous improvement. This role is designed to develop your technical skills and prepare you for a successful engineering career within a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day engineering and manufacturing activities within a CNC production environment
  • Assist with interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirements
  • Support process improvement and efficiency initiatives across machining operations
  • Liaise with production, quality and engineering teams to support delivery targets
  • Assist with problem-solving activities related to machining, tooling and process optimisation
  • Support documentation, work instructions and quality records
  • Gain exposure to CNC machining processes, tooling, materials and inspection techniques
  • Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

About You

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree (or final year student) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline
  • Strong interest in precision engineering
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Good understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and basic CAD exposure (desirable)
