Hays are working in partnership with a leading global, multidisciplined engineering and construction company to recruit a Graduate Electrical Engineer. This contractor provides a wide range of construction services across infrastructure sectors, including rail, water, power, and natural resources.

Your new role

  • Assist in the design of electrical systems for treatment plants
  • Support the development of cable sizing, layout drawings, and schematics
  • Contribute to the selection and specification of instrumentation
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Participate in site visits and commissioning activities

  • Power distribution and low-voltage systems
  • PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and telemetry
  • Electrical safety and compliance

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (or nearing completion)
