Your new company This established company is a specialist service provider to the Insurance Industry, cleaning up and reinstating properties and are looking for a General Builder/Groundworker to be based out of their yard in Belfast. Your new role You will be required to carry out multi-skilled duties which may consist of bricklaying, underpinning, concreting, drainage and general groundworks. You will be required to dig up the contaminated ground, work alongside the digger driver on site and then prepare the ground e.t.c again. The hours of work are 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. Full training will be provided. What you\’ll need to succeed Applicants must: Hold a full, clean driving licence Experience in a multi-skilled construction role The ability to drive a mini digger/dumper is desirable. Be willing to travel and work away from home if required. Have the right to work in the UK and are willing to be subject to a DBS check and pre-employment Drugs and Alcohol Screening. What you\’ll get in return This is a permanent position for which you will be rewarded with: A competitive salary Sick pay Overtime rates 28 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays). Following the completion of 3 years\’ continuous service, you will be entitled to an additional 1 day of holiday for each subsequent completed year of service to a maximum of 31 days inclusive of Bank Holidays.
