Your new company The services of Hays have been retained by our client, a Housing Association based in Portadown, to recruit an Estate Compliance Officer on a fixed-term contract for a period of 12 months. Your new role You will work within the Property Services and Housing Teams and support in making an effective contribution to the delivery of Property Management / Housing Management, which includes void management, tenancy management, estate management and tenancy engagement. This will include: Carrying out change of tenancy inspections, issuing necessary works and ensuring works are completed in line with the Association's Policies and Procedures. Assisting the Head of Housing to develop bespoke neighbourhood Action Plans. Promoting and supporting customer involvement and engagement in neighbourhoods. Carrying out Tenancy Audits to ensure the efficient management of the Association's housing stockIdentifying and taking appropriate action on potential cases of ASB in line with the Association's Policies and Procedures to ensure neighbourhood sustainability. Taking responsibility for Estate Management of Schemes, including all Landlord health, safety and compliance (general, fire and Legionella), liaising closely with the Maintenance Department to ensure all identified issues are resolved efficiently and satisfactorily. Receiving maintenance requests from tenants, staff, and joint management partners, issuing appropriate works orders to appointed contractors. Conducting regular property inspections and ensuring all conditions of tenancy are being adhered to. Consulting with tenants throughout the project cycle for Planned Maintenance Programmes and ECM Works. Completing Quality Assurance / Tenant Satisfaction surveys on repair orders. Dealing efficiently and effectively with any complaint received to ensure that a quality service is provided to all tenants. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this position, you must possess: At least 5 GCSE passes (including Maths and English) at Grade C or above or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year's previous relevant experience in Housing Management / Property Management. You should also have working knowledge / experience of: Tenancy Management and Estate Management. Tenant engagement tools and techniques. Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a wide range of stakeholders. A current full driving licence valid in the UK with access to suitable transport.
