Your new company is a successful food manufacturing business based in County Fermanagh, Enniskillen, seeking a Technical Supervisor to join its Technical team. Operating within a fast-paced production environment, the business is committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality and compliance. Your new role as Technical Supervisor involves supporting the day-to-day management and monitoring of the site's technical systems, ensuring customer specifications, food safety standards and statutory requirements are consistently achieved. You will work closely with production teams to maintain high standards of product quality, hygiene and compliance while supporting both internal and external audit activity.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the internal audit programme
  • Assisting with external audit preparation
  • Maintaining supplier approval documentation
  • Ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented and sustained

This role offers excellent exposure to technical systems, auditing and food safety compliance within a manufacturing environment.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Third-level qualification in a food related discipline, or a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Quality Assurance, Food Safety or Technical Supervisor role
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
  • Strong planning, organisational and time-management abilities
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance activities and food safety systems
  • Knowledge of current food safety standards and quality management systems such as BRC would be advantageous
  • Understanding of CCP and allergen controls is desirable
