They are seeking an experienced Site Foreman to join the team on a major residential housing scheme in Enniskillen.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional to join a secure contractor with long-term work in Enniskillen County Fermanagh, offering the chance to play a key role in the successful delivery of a large-scale timber frame housing development while building a long-term career close to home.
Your New Role
As Site Foreman, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a significant housing development, overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with the Site Manager and project team, you will coordinate subcontractors, direct labour and suppliers while maintaining excellent standards of quality construction. Responsibilities will include:
- Supervising all on-site construction activities on a busy residential housing development
- Managing subcontractors, site labour and material deliveries
- Monitoring progress against programme and assisting with short-term planning
- Ensuring compliance with NHBC standards and current building regulations
- Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and promoting a strong health & safety culture
- Attending and contributing to site meetings with management and design teams
- Maintaining high-quality standards throughout all phases of the construction process
- Supporting the project team in achieving key programme milestones and handover dates
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have a proven background in residential housing construction, with experience delivering large-scale timber frame housing. You will ideally possess:
- Previous experience in a Site Foreman, Finishing Foreman or similar supervisory role
- Strong timber frame housing experience on developments of 50+ units
- Excellent understanding of current building regulations and construction methodologies
- Previous experience working to NHBC standards and compliance requirements
- Strong organisational, planning and communication skills
- Good knowledge of health & safety legislation and site compliance requirements
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and resolve technical issues
- Competent IT skills including email, Excel and digital reporting systems
