Your new company is an established property maintenance and construction contractor based in South Down with an immediate requirement for a NICEIC Qualified Electrical Supervisor to join their Public Sector and Housing division.
Your new role is a permanent position working on a range of public sector and social housing contracts across Northern Ireland. As the Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining, validating and signing off NICEIC certifications as well as overseeing the electrical team.
Key duties will include:
- Overseeing contract work, including testing and remedial works.
- Managing and documenting a process of physical and technical inspection and audit to confirm that all electrical installations and assets are maintained in a manner that is fully compliant.
- Managing and documenting a quality control process to ensure the Electrical team deliver planned, preventative maintenance programmes and response repairs in accordance with the requirements of the contracts.
- Inspecting major service failures, intermittent faults and protracted repairs.
- Inspecting works in progress to ensure that the contractor is working safely in accordance with health and safety.
To be suitable for this role, you must have experience working in a similar electrical supervision role, ideally on large public sector contracts or for similar scale private sector clients.
Required qualifications: City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
