Electrical Improver Required - Retrofit Project
Location: Oxford, OX4 4UY
Hours: 39 hours per week - Monday to Friday
We are currently looking for an Electrical Improver to support a retrofit electrical project based in Oxford.
The Role
Working alongside qualified electricians, you will assist with electrical installation works within an existing and partially occupied building. Duties will include:
- Installation of PVC conduit and containment systems
- Pulling, dressing, and securing cables
- Assisting with installation of Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
- Assisting with installation and wiring of sensors and control devices
- Working safely in occupied areas with minimal disruption to residents
- Maintaining clean and safe work areas
- Following all site health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Electrical Improver
- ECS card preferred
- Working towards NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Good understanding of basic electrical installation practices
- Experience with conduit, containment, and cabling
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused attitude
