Your New Company A well-established and growing manufacturing business in Dungannon is seeking a Health & Safety Co-Ordinator to join their HSEQ team.

Your New Role Reporting directly to the HSEQ Manager, you will play a key role in promoting and maintaining a positive health and safety culture across the business.
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, company procedures and management systems while supporting continuous improvement responsibilities include: Ensuring all Health & Safety policies, procedures and regulations are adhered to, reviewed and updated.
Completing and reviewing risk assessments across all work activities and equipment.
Investigating accidents and incidents and implementing corrective actions.
Conducting regular workplace inspections and safety audits.
Managing fire safety procedures, drills and emergency preparedness activities.
Supporting Health & Safety Committee meetings and monitoring completion of agreed actions.
Maintaining accurate health, safety and training records.
Carrying out documented health and safety inspections and compliance checks.
Completing and reviewing COSHH assessments.
Designing and delivering toolbox talks and safety awareness training.
Managing the ordering and distribution of PPE.
Assisting with continuous improvement projects and any other reasonable duties as required.
Hours of work: Mon- Fri, short day Fri What You'll Need to Succeed Degree-level education preferable but not essential.
Nebosh preferable but not essential.
Experience conducting workplace risk assessments.
Experience working within an ISO management system environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
A proactive approach to promoting a positive safety culture.
Previous experience in a Health & Safety role.
Knowledge of ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.
Internal Auditor qualification.
Manufacturing or engineering sector experience.
