Hays Engineering are working in partnership with a well-established and growing manufacturing organisation based in Dungannon. Due to continued expansion and investment, our client is seeking to appoint a Junior Design Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team. Your new role
As a Design Engineer, you will support the design and development of bespoke products and systems. Working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, you will be involved in the full design lifecycle from concept through to production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks
- Assisting in the design and development of new and existing products
- Supporting prototype development, testing, and design modifications
- Liaising with production teams to ensure manufacturability and efficiency
- Maintaining accurate design documentation and BOMs
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
