Your new company and role
Hays' client is a private sector organisation based in Edinburgh. The organisation is looking for you to assist them on an initial 8-month contract with providing both on-site and remote desktop support. This role will be on-site, thus the client requires you to be an easy commute away.
This role will consist of the following:
- Providing on-site and remote desktop support to end-users
- Perform standard hardware break-fix tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing laptops, desktops and peripherals
- Manage and support Dell laptops, ensuring certification standards are met
- Utilise ServiceNow or similar platforms for logging and updating support calls
- Support and maintain Citrix environments
- Deliver excellent customer service, addressing user issues professionally and promptly
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience with providing both on-site and remote desktop support
- Experience providing hardware break-fix with desktops, laptops and peripherals
- Good customer service skills
- Enjoys working as part of a team and also the ability to use your own initiative
- Driving licence may be required as there may be a requirement to support other client sites in Scotland
