Your new role

As a Structural/Civil Engineer, you will be involved in the design, analysis, and delivery of a range of structural projects from concept through to completion. You will work closely with senior engineers, architects, and clients, contributing to innovative and practical design solutions.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing structural calculations, designs, and drawings for a variety of projects
  • Working with materials such as steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
  • Supporting project delivery from feasibility through to construction stage
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensuring designs meet current industry standards and regulations
  • Assisting with site inspections and technical reporting

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role within a UK/Irish consultancy environment
  • Experience with structural design software (e.g. Tekla, Tedds, Robot, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of UK/Irish building regulations and design codes
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Progress towards Chartership (ICE or IStructE) would be advantageous.
