Your new role as Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in driving operational excellence across the Portadown facility. You will support production teams, optimise manufacturing processes, and lead continuous improvement activities to enhance quality, efficiency, and throughput. You will be analysing current workflows, identifying bottlenecks, implementing improvements, and supporting NPI activities, ensuring smooth transition from design to manufacture. You will work closely with Quality to resolve issues and reduce defects, providing engineering support to production teams and troubleshooting equipment or process issues.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Ideally, you will have a Degree or HND in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (aerospace, automotive, or precision engineering desirable).
- Strong understanding of Lean, CI, and modern manufacturing methods.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
