Your new role as Manufacturing Engineer will involve driving operational excellence across the Portadown facility. You will support production teams, optimise manufacturing processes, and lead continuous improvement activities to enhance quality, efficiency, and throughput. This includes analysing current workflows, identifying bottlenecks, implementing improvements, and supporting NPI activities to ensure a smooth transition from design to manufacture. You will work closely with Quality to resolve issues, reduce defects, and provide engineering support to production teams while troubleshooting equipment or process issues.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Ideally, a Degree or HND in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (aerospace, automotive, or precision engineering desirable).
