Your new company requires a Handyman to work in the Public Sector in Portadown.

Your new role: Responsible for carrying out a wide range of external and internal repair and maintenance works across housing stock.

External Maintenance Duties:

  • General external repairs including groundwork, concreting, flagging, and garden upkeep
  • Installation and repair of fences and gates
  • Drainage work (excavation, pipe laying, clearing blockages) and power washing
  • Repairs to gutters, downpipes, soil pipes, and minor roof issues
  • Assisting with scaffolding erection
  • General Handyman tasks

Internal Maintenance Duties:

  • Minor plastering and boarding repairs
  • Basic plumbing, joinery, and painting
  • Installation of level access showers and drainage
  • Floor levelling and concrete repairs
  • Small-scale tiling and non-slip flooring
  • House clear-outs
  • General Handyman tasks

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Proven experience in a Handyman, maintenance, or multi-trade role (1 to 5 years preferred)
  • Demonstrable skills across a range of trades, e.g: Basic plumbing (leaks, fitting taps, etc.), Electrical (minor works only - changing sockets, light fittings), Carpentry (doors, skirting, small repairs), Painting & decorating, General property maintenance
