Your new role
As a Contracts Manager, you will take the lead in managing an NEC contract, ensuring day-to-day administration and compliance. You will oversee resources to deliver responsive repairs, manage KPIs, and maintain strong client relationships. Your responsibilities will include preparing cost-value analyses, supporting claims and variations, certifying invoices, and monitoring budgets. This is a hands-on role where you will attend meetings, provide monthly reports, and drive operational success.
What you will need to succeed
- A degree in Construction, Commercial Management, or equivalent.
- NEC accreditation or demonstrable NEC4 contract management experience (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB).
- At least 5 years' experience managing contracts with annual turnover between £2m-£5m.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong organisational, communication, and numerical skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- A flexible, proactive attitude and commitment to health & safety standards.
- Access NI clearance (processed during onboarding).
