Your new role involves playing a key role in the design and development of heavy-duty machinery, supporting both new product development and the continuous improvement of existing equipment. This is a technically challenging role that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components for industrial shredding equipment
- Produce detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using CAD software
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, specifications, and safety requirements
- Work closely with production, procurement and project teams to deliver efficient, cost-effective design solutions
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and validation activities
- Support new products from initial concept through to manufacture
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation and manage design changes

What you'll need to succeed:
- A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
