Your new company: A well established organisation with a rapidly expanding estate across the UK and Ireland is continuing to invest in the growth of its Facilities team. Due to ongoing site openings and refurbishment projects, they are now seeking experienced Carpenter & Joiners to support works across the North of England and Scotland.
Your new role: As a Joiner, you will be responsible for the maintenance of existing sites and the fit out of new locations. This is a mobile, home based role covering Greater Manchester, with frequent travel across North England and Scotland, and occasional travel elsewhere in the UK and Ireland.
- Carrying out first and second fix joinery works across commercial environments
- Dry lining, ceiling installation, and general building works
- Supporting shop fit outs and refurbishment projects
- Assisting with strip out and re fit works where required
- Completing planned and reactive maintenance tasks
- Working alongside subcontractors and other trades on site
- Ensuring that all work complies with current building regulations and standards
- Raising material requests and maintaining accurate stock records
- Executing work schedules in line with agreed programmes
- Completing job sheets and maintenance documentation accurately and on time
- Carrying out site walk rounds and logging required remedial works
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and PPE compliance
- Ensuring tools and equipment are used safely and correctly at all times
