Your new company This is an amazing opportunity to join a very successful company that have been in business for 25 years and going from strength to strength. They are recruiting for a Business Development Manager. It is working 40 hours a week and the company can be flexible with the starting and finishing times and can accommodate working from home if needed. Salary for this role is circa £40k-£45k, plus car allowance, plus milage. Your new role This role brings a mixture of working in the office and travelling to meet clients face to face across Ireland as well and having meetings with clients on MS Teams. As Business Development Manager, you will take responsibility for generating leads, cultivating client relationships, and driving sales for premium food products. This role demands thorough knowledge of the food market, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to consistently meet and surpass sales targets. You will be responsible for: Identifying and prospecting potential clients. Building and maintaining a sales pipeline. Develop and sustain strong client relationships. Provide post-sales support. Stay updated on the product range. Educate clients on product benefits. Contribute to new product ideas. Create and present proposals and contracts. Negotiate terms to secure deals. Monitor market trends and competitor activities and provide feedback for strategic adjustments. Maintain accurate sales records. Create regular sales reports and participate in team meetings. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in sales, preferred within food/FMCG industries. Thorough knowledge of food supply chain and market dynamics. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team. Target-driven with a demonstrable record of meeting sales targets. Customer-focused approach. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience of adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational and time management skills. What you'll get in return an Excellent salary circa £40,000-£45,000 (negotiable depending on experience) + bonus potential and car allowance, 20 days holidays plus stats, 3% pension.
