Your new company is a large, established, agricultural-based company looking to expand their team for a Weighbridge Operative based in Belfast.
Your new role will require you to:
- Open and close the weighbridge and be the point of contact for yard personnel to enter/exit or in case of an emergency.
- Operate the weighbridge, ensuring all lorries are booked in and out.
- Weigh lorries in and out at our weighbridges.
- Deal with customer and in-house queries.
- Direct drivers as to which locations to collect from or deliver to.
- Maintain weighbridge records and reconcile stocks; report anomalies to the management team.
- Reconcile ship discharge figures and ensure accuracy of details in D365 and weighbridge systems.
- Assist in basic maintenance of weighbridge and weighbridge communications.
- Perform basic admin duties on the site thermal camera system.
- Run system reports to track data accuracy.
- Reconcile invoices before passing to Operations Manager for approval.
- Operate the SCADA control systems to assist drivers with loading as required.
- Book haulage, including creation of fixing numbers.
- Monitor thermal cameras and respond to alarms by clearing them as necessary.
- Take responsibility for all tasks relating to the weighbridges, including reboots and zeroing.
