They are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their growing pipeline of secured projects and long-term investment in the local market. Your new role as Site Manager will involve the day-to-day management of construction activities on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, and to the highest quality. Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing daily site operations and ensuring works progress in line with programme requirements.
  • Coordinating and supervising subcontractors across multiple trades.
  • Monitoring quality standards and ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Identifying and resolving site issues, defects, and technical challenges.
  • Maintaining strong health and safety standards and ensuring compliance with RAMS.
  • Conducting daily briefings, inspections, and site checks.
  • Liaising with clients, warranty providers, building control, and other external stakeholders.
  • Providing regular progress updates and reports to the Project Manager.
  • Supporting short-term planning and resource coordination to maintain programme delivery.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A strong trade background such as Joinery, Bricklaying, Plumbing, or a similar construction discipline.
  • Previous experience in a Site Manager, Foreman, or supervisory position within the construction sector.
  • Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage site activities effectively.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and quality control processes.
  • Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and project delivery.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.

Desirable qualifications and experience include:

  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
  • First Aid at Work qualification.
  • Residential construction project experience.
  • Knowledge of NHBC standards or equivalent warranty requirements.
