Your new company A leading international professional services organisation is seeking a Recruitment Assistant to join its established talent acquisition team in Belfast. Your new role As Recruitment Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support throughout the recruitment life cycle.
Working closely with recruitment professionals, hiring managers and external partners, you will help ensure a seamless candidate experience from initial application through to onboarding. Key responsibilities will include: Supporting and maintaining recruitment activity through applicant tracking systems and internal databases. Coordinating interviews, assessment processes and candidate communications. Posting and managing vacancies across a variety of recruitment platforms.
Liaising with candidates, recruitment agencies and internal stakeholders throughout the hiring process. Preparing offer documentation, contracts and onboarding paperwork. Supporting early careers and graduate recruitment programmes, including assessment centres, recruitment events and university engagement initiatives. Producing recruitment reports and maintaining accurate recruitment records. Assisting with recruitment projects, process improvements and strategic hiring initiatives.
Managing recruitment-related queries and ensuring a professional service is delivered at all times. Supporting onboarding activities for new starters and contingent workers. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience in recruitment administration, HR administration or a similar people-focused environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A proactive and professional approach with strong attention to detail. Proven experience delivering a high level of customer or client service. Confidence coordinating processes, scheduling meetings and managing competing deadlines. Experience using applicant tracking systems, HR systems or recruitment software would be advantageous. A genuine interest in recruitment, talent acquisition and career development.
