The predicted salary is between 45000 - 55000 £ per year.

Your new company is a leading social housing and property services organisation responsible for delivering responsive repairs, maintenance and planned works across a large and diverse property portfolio throughout Northern Ireland. Operating an in-house maintenance service, the organisation is committed to providing high-quality workmanship, excellent customer service and value for money. Services include responsive repairs, void property maintenance, disabled adaptations, project works, electrical testing and asbestos monitoring.

As part of continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supervisor to join the team in South Belfast.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the supervision and coordination of minor multi-trade building works, responsive maintenance activities and small project works, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard. The role will involve managing operatives and subcontractors, carrying out pre- and post-inspections, monitoring quality and performance, and ensuring customers receive an excellent service throughout the delivery of works.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising minor multi-trade building works and small projects.
  • Managing engineers, operatives and subcontractors across multiple sites.
  • Carrying out pre- and post-work inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Programming, coordinating and monitoring maintenance activities.
  • Supporting the delivery of responsive repairs and planned maintenance programmes.
  • Ensuring works are completed within agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards.
  • Maintaining a strong focus on health and safety, customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Building positive relationships with tenants, customers and key stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed:

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background within construction, property maintenance or social housing, combined with proven supervisory experience. Essential requirements include:

  • Demonstrable high-level experience managing engineers, operatives and subcontractors.
  • Strong technical knowledge of maintenance and repair works within a social housing environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional levels of customer service.
  • Sound knowledge of building maintenance services with a minimum of three years' relevant experience within the maintenance, construction or building services sector.
  • Experience programming, managing and delivering small projects and minor multi-trade building works.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise workloads and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Experience within social housing repairs and planned maintenance environments would be highly advantageous.
