Your new company Hays are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading global engineering and project management consultancy to recruit a Project Manager to join their Complex Projects team across Ireland and Northern Ireland. The organisation is renowned for delivering some of the most high-profile and technically challenging projects across sectors including infrastructure, aviation, defence, water and transport. You will be joining a collaborative and forward-thinking team that places a strong emphasis on professional development, innovation, and delivering excellence for clients.

Your new role As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects across the full project lifecycle. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard, meeting client expectations in terms of time, cost, quality and risk. Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing projects from initial concept through to completion
  • Providing expert advice to clients on programme, cost, risks and key issues
  • Leading and coordinating multidisciplinary teams across a range of sectors
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Producing detailed project reports, including programme updates and risk registers
  • Developing and implementing effective communication and delivery plans
  • Driving best practice in project management and continuous performance improvement
  • Working within fast-paced and evolving project environments while maintaining high standards

What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Experience delivering projects across the full lifecycle within a consultancy or client-side environment
  • Strong experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary project teams
  • A solid understanding of pre- and post-contract Project Management responsibilities
  • A recognised Project Management qualification (APM, RICS or similar), or working towards one
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to challenge and add value
